Crystal Ballroom Marriott World Center Resort Orlando

TENOROC PROM 2010!!!!!!

We were very fortunate to be a part of Tenoroc's Highschool Prom on April 10th, 2010.

The theme was "Diamonds are Forever". It took place at the Marriott World Center Orlando inside of the Crystal Ballroom (which tied in perfectly with the theme).

Based on the consultation I had with Denay Copeland (Prom Coordinator & staff member of Teneroc High School), she wanted beautiful crystal centerpieces for the larger tables and a smaller centerpiece to accent the smaller tables. We added a sparkling black organza overlay which looked AMAZING=) The centerpieces were 3 tier crystal beaded pieces set on a trumpet style vase. We added height by placing a black satin cube under each centerpiece and added crystals inside of each vase, filled them with water, added a submersible light and to top it all off...

We added red rose petals inside of each vase and then places rose petals on top of each arrangement. THESE CENTERPIECES WILL DEFINITELY GIVE ANY ROOM THE WOW FACTOR!!!!

Polk County Bridal Exhibit & Marketplace 2010

This year's Bridal Show was great... Events by Joann had the opportunity to coordinate this year's fashion show segment of the bridal show. It was truly a great experience!

I must also say as a vendor at the show, I really feel that it was a very great show. I have had the chance to meet so many wonderful brides who attended the show. And I hope to meet more, with our new event design studio NOW OPEN I am able to sit with the future bride and groom and discuss overall decor, flowers, and coordination services...

Working from home for the past three years was great but being able to have my clients and future clients meet at the studio is even better=)

ROSE WAS THE COLOR!!!!

Jenna & Don came to me from Land o' Lakes Florida. They were going to have their ceremony and reception here in Lakeland. The ceremony took place right in front of Lake Mirror and the reception took place in the Lake Mirror Auditorium. I loved that Jenna was always thinking outside of the box.

We used the rectangular tables on site and arranged them in L shaped sections. The centerpieces were very pretty, they were manzanita branches with fresh orchids on each branch. I loved making those centerpieces. The linens we ivory with rose colored sashes and rose colored table runners.

Jenna also wanted her bouquet to be on the modern side, so based on what she wanted and some images she had emailed to me I put mini Calla lilies, roses, cymbidium orchids, ti leaves and crystals... It was very nice!!!!

Darjon Photography from Tampa, FL were great to work with.

They were extremely professional and I can not wait to see the professional photos!

The cake was from Let Them Eat Cake! Tampa

Affordable Catering were the caterers for the evening and they did and amaizing job!

Sierra's Wedding!

Sierra wanted a classic clean theme for her wedding with crystal accents throughout. I first met with her in October of 2009 to discuss her vision and she described it to me. We went over some ideas, changed the chair covers from the standard polyester chair cover to the pillowcase satin chair cover. We added creme roses to the centerpieces and submersive lighting as well to give the reception an extra special glow. We added ceiling decor in ivory and instead of a polyester tablecloth with a satin ivory overlay we did satin table linens.

When we started to work on the centerpieces they looked perfect. I was so excited for her because I knew that everything was coming along as we had discussed it.

After days of getting everything set for her wedding that BIG day was here. We arrived to set up her reception site and it all came together.

She loved it=)

Ribbon Cutting

After setting up Ana & Dennis's wedding we got ready for a pre-opening night.

We had our friends and family join us. We also had City Commissioner Justin Troller as our special guest, he did the ribbon cutting ceremony with us. It was a very emotional day...

The feeling of having the opportunity to grow your business is a great one.

Ana & Dennis were married on Feb. 27th, 2010 at Hollis Gardens and they had their reception in the Magnolia Building.

Ana was so delighted that we were able to match our linens to her exact wedding color...

The reception had all of the flowers in place and the candles were lit.
